A new chapter in Malta’s classical music scene is here! The De Valette Chamber Orchestra has officially launched its first cultural programme for the 2025/2026 season at the historic Teatru Manoel.

Led by internationally acclaimed Maltese musician Mro. Carmine Lauri, Concertmaster Emeritus of the London Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra brings together top talent from some of the world’s most prestigious orchestras, including London Symphony, Munich Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, and more.

The orchestra goes further than just the performances – it also aims to inspire the next generation, offering masterclasses for young musicians guided by world-renowned artists.

This season, under the artistic direction of Anna Kosinska, the De Valette Chamber Orchestra will perform four concerts at Teatru Manoel, with the season opener happening tonight (1st October) at 8pm, followed by Tuesday 25th November, Wednesday 4th February and closing on Friday 12th June.

German cellist Maximilian Hornung, one of the top cellists of his generation, joins as the Artist-in-Residence, taking the orchestra’s profile to new heights, and providing inspiration for budding musicians too!

Ready for a night of orchestral bliss?

1st October 2025
