They thanked the vets involved for their stellar work.
Yesterday, we shared the horrible news that a puppy was found covered in tar was rushed to the vet by the AAA in the hopes of saving the little one. Thankfully, the little guy is on the mend!
“The clinic, we took him to, Dr Trevor's Clinic in Attard has cleaned him a bit by bit,” AAA said on Facebook, sharing an update on the pup. “Nearly all the tar has been removed. Skin is sore, he lost lots of fur but he is alive and even ate.”
“We are going to name him Mickey, baby Mickey. This night and maybe even for the few coming days he is going to stay at the clinic so for sure he will survive and continue to improve. He suffered enough, no more pain for you Mickey.”
The AAA thanked their followers for their support and in reporting such incidents. “And another big thanks to Dr George and Roxianne, of Dr Trevor's clinic who are going to charge the sanctuary only for the medication and boarding, and nothing for the hours they stayed cleaning him one cm by one cm for hours. Thank you for loving our abandoned dogs and always welcome our emergencies non stop, your clinic is an example.”
