Multiple cultural sites across the Maltese islands are now open for virtual tours

Museums and heritage sites may have had to temporarily close down, but Heritage Malta’s latest collaboration with Google is giving those at home a cultural outing with a twist.

Following the success of Heritage Malta’s Facebook streaming of the Spring Equinox from Mnajdra & Hagar Qim temples last week, the organisation is opening its virtual doors to all its museums and heritage sites.

The list includes sites across the Maltese islands such as Rahal Gdid’s Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, Bigru’s The Inquisitor’s Palace and Mosta’s Ta Bistra Catacombs in Malta and Xaghra’s Ggantija, Gozo’s Nature Museum and Museum of Archeology, on Malta’s sister island.
