If you’ve ever strolled through Mdina and admired the iconic façade of Casa Gourgion, this Saturday is your perfect chance to step inside completely for free!

On Saturday 14th June, Casa Gourgion is celebrating its 1-year anniversary since officially opening to the public with a special open day, offering free entrance all day from 10am to 9pm.

Once a nobleman’s residence, Casa Gourgion has been beautifully restored into a historical space, filled with character, charm, and centuries-old stories. While the building’s elegant exterior is one of the most photographed façades in Malta, it’s what lies behind the door that makes this home truly magical.

Visitors can explore the authentic interiors, learn about the building’s fascinating history, and discover the artistry and preservation work that brought this Mdina treasure back to life.

Throughout the day, guests will be treated to refreshments and special surprises, making it a festive, welcoming event for history lovers, culture seekers, and curious locals alike.

Whether it’s your first visit to Mdina or your hundredth, this is the perfect excuse to rediscover the Silent City with fresh eyes, and enjoy a rare peek into one of its most beautiful private homes.

Have you ever been inside?
