There was bound to be one of these, but we weren’t expecting it to be THIS good. Nadur Carnival-goers were surprised by a very familiar-looking structure this year – the Marsa flyover.

Creatives made a replica of the infamous Marsa flyover that is currently being constructed in the hopes of having smoother transitions to and from different parts of the south of Malta. The flyover works are being carried out by Infrastructure Malta who had something to say about the jab at the flyover.

“First flyover in #Gozo taking shape in #Nadur. Another project entrusted to the Nadur Carnival Consortium,” they wrote on Facebook, poking fun at themselves. “Happy Carnival 2020!”
