Last month, the first two of the seven flyovers being built in Marsa were opened, and have already helped ease up traffic congestions. And now, Minister Ian Borg has just announced the projected opening dates of the remaining five flyovers, and it’s pretty soon!

“Until the end of January next year, we will be using another two flyovers of the Marsa Junction project and will be removing the traffic lights near Addolorata Cemetery once and for all,” he said in a Facebook post.

Minister Borg has also announced that the fifth and sixth flyovers will be opened in March 2020, while the last one and the concluding works on this massive project will come to an end later on in the year.

“Thank you to all the workers who have worked tirelessly to make the largest infrastructural project work. We’re committed to keep working and accomplishing what we’ve planned for Maltese and Gozitans.”
