It’s official! Malta’s sweetheart Destiny will be part of Michela’s Eurovision team

Michela’s Eurovision journey has officially begun after touching down in Tel Aviv yesterday and going straight into rehearsals this morning. But while we all know that she has teamed up with renowned choreographer Ambra Succi and the graphics gods at Front Pictures for her astounding performance, her backing vocalists were yet to be announced... until now!

Remember we said that something interesting was brewing between Michela and Destiny last week? Well, it’s brewed and ready to go, as our suspicions have been confirmed! After much snooping and a little slip, we can confirm that Junior Eurovision winner and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Destiny Chukunyere is part of Michela’s vocal team.

The Maltese startlet is keeping her fans updated with live Instagram stories of everything that is going on behind the scenes in Tel Aviv, and in one particular story, Michela is at the in-ear soundcheck and features Destiny... slightly. Ok, you might think we're reading too much into this, right? Nope! Various Eurovision expert websites have since confirmed that Destiny is Michela’s off-screen backing vocalist!
