“The video art is quite amazing. The Maltese got their own LED screens, that close Michela in half a square,” said one commentator. “With Michela are four dancers in sweatsuits that dance around, looking very urban and chic. This will definitely rise up in the betting odds.”

In another live chatroom, commentator Joe Sansom describes the visuals of Michela’s performance. “Her backdrop changed colour throughout the chorus and then we are transferred to other destinations. A jungle, a cityscape, in each shot there is a drawing of a chameleon. We are now on an iceberg, or is it a cloud? Well, it is certainly striking.”

Michela did around four run throughs of her song, and spectators have noticed her confidence growing with each one, earning a “well-deserved round of applause from the Press Centre,” said another commentator.

Commentators from Eurovision Ireland have called this “a memorable performance,” and one commentator said, “Malta has literally thrown the kitchen sink at this performance. It is a fun and colourful three minutes of hip and modern music.” She has also been described as having completed her "chameleon transformation into a dance diva", with many websites singing her praises.
