Inhobbok! Exciting programme of events in Gozo announced in the run up to Valentine's Day

A fun filled programme of events has just been announced for Valentine’s Day in Gozo. Going by the name ‘#inħobbok’, the programme has a myriad of different events to choose from including exhibitions, concerts, festivals, and theatrical productions amongst many others.

The exciting and event fuelled month will kick off with a Retro Cinema at Aurora theatre. On Friday, 3rd February they are showing the classic British rom-com, Four Weddings and a Funeral while on Sunday, 5th February they are showing the Oscar and award-winning Lala Land.

From the 4th till the 12th February an Artisanal Fair showcasing local businesses and artists is being held at the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria.

On Saturday, 4th February a concert by the phenomenal Palace String Orchestra will be taking place in Independence Square featuring local singers like Michela Pace, Amber, Keith, Neville and Denise.

Additionally, a romantic comedy will be performed at the Fontana local council community hall on Thursday, 9th February. The production was written and performed by the comedian Ed Vassallo.

Apart from the Retro cinema at Aurora, cinema lovers will be happy to know that a drive-in cinema is being organised on Friday, 10th February at the Leli Farrugia Football ground in Victoria.

On Saturday, 11th February, the Ta’ Dbiegi Artisan Village in Gharb is also organising an event to boost local handmade products and talent.

This will be followed by a one act romantic comedy directed by Jamie Camilleri called ‘Caught in the Act’ at the Gharb Square.

Families with small children will be happy to know that throughout the day on Sunday, 12th February a whole lot of engaging and fun activities are being organised at Villa Rundle for all kids to enjoy.

To close off the packed schedule of events, a classical concert will be played on Sunday, 12th February at the stunning Villa Fiorita in Marsalforn.
