Malta once had it's very own movie park at Rinella but it's been over 20 years since it welcomed a customer.

Having closed down at the turn of the millenium, the once iconic park is now in a delapidated state, but joyful memories surrounding it remain strong.

Indeed many locals reminisce their childhood and youth spent enjoying the countless rides at the park, with the exhilarating 'Titanic' ride being the favourite of many.

These pictures, shared to local Facebook group Nostalgia Malta, have sparked several pleas asking for the park to be restored to its former glory. "It is an important monument commemorating the local film heritage," one comment read.
