Hooray, it’s Nutella Day! Here are 10 decadent Nutella desserts you NEED to try in Malta
You’re welcome.

Jillian Mallia

Yep, today is officially Nutella Day (i.e. my number one personal weakness). All the training I’ve been doing is probably (definitely) going out the window today, but it's only fair, seeing as it's an international holiday and all... Aaanyway, if you're looking for a delicious new way to hit that Nutella craving today, may I humbly suggest 10 of the yummiest Nutella concoctions to try at Malta’s finest!

1. Nutella milkshake (New York Best)

I’ve tasted this one, and honestly, it’s divine. NYB’s Nutella milkshake is the way to go. (Unless you're lactose intolerant like me, in which case you can join me while I cry quietly in the corner).

2. Nutella pastizzi (Shakes n Bakes)

Whoever created this must have known it would be a hit in Malta! We love pastizzi and we most definitely love chocolate – put them together and boom! Legendary. Props to you Shakes n Bakes!

3. Nutella pancakes (Shoreditch)

I can feel my cholesterol levels rising just by looking at this. Shoreditch knows how to tease our cravings with their delicious pancakes topped with Nutella pastizzi. Yep, that's two-in-one right there. #Foodgoals

4. Nutella ice cream (Sottozero)

Sottozero is probably the best gelateria on the island. The rich Nutella flavoured gelato will tickle your taste buds and have you licking every last drop.

5. Nutella balls (I Monelli)

Take this from a regular – I Monelli’s Nutella balls are life. My friends and I would kill for a portion of these! Anyone care to bring me some?

6. Nutella biscuit brownies (Naked Bakes)

Now you’re just being cheeky! Naked Bakes created Nutella biscuit brownies after locals went totally wild for them when they were released on the market last year. And who can blame them?

Come to mama! Pizza 4U's Nutella pizza speaks to my soul, and that pineapple is my jam. #YASQueen

Excuse me while I wipe away the drool. This bubble waffle from Zwiit exudes happiness and it’s just what we need to brighten up this gloomy week!
