Fancy a holiday? Malta based airline Universal Air release summer schedule with four new routes
One of the new direct flights is to Perugia in Northern Italy.

Universal Air have announced their summer schedule and launched four new additional routes from its base in Malta.

Travellers can now fly directly from Malta to Cagliari in Sardinia, Perugia in Northern Italy, Nice in France, Prague in Czechia. One can now even fly between Cagliari and Prague with the airline.

These new routes were introduced alongside Universal Air’s current routes to Athens and Corfu in Greece, Ibiza in Spain, Palermo in Sicily and Pécs in Hungary.

The summer flight schedule will run from May until October!

Flights are set to operate three times a week from Malta to Corfu and Malta to Palermo. On the other hands, flights from Malta to Nice, Athens, Ibiza and Perugia will operate twice a week while flights from Malta to Cagliari and Prague are set to operate once a week.

“We are excited about the potential these new routes hold for leisure and business travellers, the tourism industry, and the broader economic impact for each destination”, Universal Air CEO, Simon Cook expressed.

Universal Air launched their first commercial flight just last March but have a strong track record in aviation, having provided charter and cargo services for many years from its base at the Malta International Airport.
