Hey, over 40s in Malta! Have you registered for your COVID-19 vaccine, yet?
Registration opens today!

From today, 23rd April 2021, locals aged over 40 in Malta can register to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. This was announced on Wednesday by Health Minister Christ Fearne.

How do I register?

It's a very simple process! Head to vaccin.gov.mt and hit the 'Start' button. Everything is self-explanatory from then. #Userfriendly. Got any questions? There's also a 'FAQ' button you can click on. The portal "allows Maltese ID card holders to register their interest with public health authorities to receive the COVID-19 vaccine."

By the end of the week, Fearne said that 300,000 first doses would have been administered to older groups. The roll-out for those aged between 50 and 59 began just last Saturday (17th April) and over a third have already been given one jab.
