Getting there! The Wildlife Rehab Centre at Xrobb L-Ghagin is coming along nicely
Looking good!

Jillian Mallia

Things seem to be moving along nicely at Xrobb L-Ghagin which will see a new project in the area: the Wildlife Rehab Centre Project. Those involved are hoping that this dream (that has been in the making for a good 20 years) will be completed by 2021. Fingers crossed!

“Encouraging news! The Wildlife Rehab Centre Project is moving forward. A project that we hope should be completed by the end of 2021 and will save more protected wildlife and thus help protect the biodiversity of the Maltese Islands,” the Facebook page Adopt a Turtle shared.

This project is being funded under the ERDF funding mechanism and is co-financed by the Ministry for the Environment, the Facebook page shared.

Adopt a Turtle, part of Nature Trust, is known for its wildlife rescues, particularly related to marine life. They also help with sponsorships for the turtles they rescue throughout the year that go towards rehab and medicinal care. Find out more, here!
