Full moon rising! Check out these stunning shots showing July's awesome celestial activity
It's jaw-droppingly beautiful!

July may have just kicked off but the sky has already given us one of the most beautiful sights of the month. Did you miss it? Don't worry, we've got you covered!

July's full moon, known as the 'Buck Moon' or 'Thunder Moon' as a nod to summertime thunderstorms, reached it's peak just after midnight early on Sunday morning.

The next full moon is expected to hit on Monday August 3rd, so if you're planning on organising a nighttime beach gathering with your mates, you may want to save this date.

Following August's full moon, another incredible celestial activity will be taking place: the Tears of St Lawrence (a.k.a. the Perseid meteor shower). Although the meteor shower will be starting from 17th July, it will peak closer to mid-August. Do you have a wish you'd like to see come true? Then you know what you need to do!

Look up at the sky tonight, it won't be a FULL moon but it's still close enough!

6th July 2020

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
