Visitors planning a trip to Valletta’s historic Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum on Saturday, 21st June, are advised to take note of an early closure. On that day, both attractions will be closing at 17:00. The management extends its apologies for any inconvenience this early closing time may cause.

Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum remain two of Malta’s most treasured cultural sites, offering a rich journey through the island’s military history; from the Great Siege of 1565 to World War II. Housed within the bastioned walls of Fort St Elmo, the museum brings to life the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of the Maltese people.

While the shortened hours may affect some plans, the team looks forward to welcoming visitors again during regular opening hours.

Guests are encouraged to plan their visit accordingly and enjoy the historic atmosphere and insightful exhibits before 5 p.m.
