Incredible! This traveller visited every country in the world – twice – and ended his journey in Malta
He is now the youngest person to have accomplished this feat.

World traveller and content creator Alvaro Rojas has just completed a mind-blowing feat: visiting every country in the world not once, but twice – and he chose Malta as the final stop on his second full journey around the globe.

The Spanish adventurer marked the occasion with a photo at Balluta Bay, holding a sign that read: ‘Every Country Twice. Final Country Malta.’

Back in 2019, Alvaro made headlines when he became the youngest Spaniard to visit every country in the world – an elite list that, at the time, included only around 250 people in history. Since then, he set his sights on an even rarer milestone: revisiting every nation for a second time, becoming the youngest person to have accomplished this feat. With this, he follows in the footsteps of Norwegian traveller and author Gunnar Garfors, the first person ever to accomplish the double-round-world challenge.

Alvaro’s incredible journey has captivated his 327K Instagram followers, with his feed offering a window into all corners of the globe – from the icy edges of Antarctica to the sun-baked landscapes of Sudan, where he used his platform to shed light on the ongoing Sundanese conflict.

Among his wildest stories was gaining access to North Korea – a country still closed to traditional tourism – by joining 200 international amateur athletes for a marathon event. Now that’s commitment!

Ending his second global adventure in Malta, Alvaro reminded his followers that even small islands can leave a big impression.
