Fingers crossed! Could this be the last storm for the Maltese Islands before summer?
Seriously, Mother Nature. We’re over this.
If you’ve looked outside the window today or have travelled to work or school, you’d notice that we have some pretty crap weather, as we have had for the past few days. The week so far has been dull, gloomy and grey, with rain showers during the day and night. And honestly, we’re kinda sick of it.

According to Malta Weather, we should expect “rain showers that may be thundery and with hail” throughout the day across the Maltese Islands. And those pesky rain showers might turn into heavy rain! Oghqod ahsel il-karozza!
But hopefully, this will be the last unseasonable storm before summer starts, and we can soak up all that sun (even though we’ll be having a ‘wetter than average’ summer... we’re just going to ignore that).
While thunderstorms will be gracing us with their presence today, tomorrow things should calm down as we’re expecting partly cloudy skies. The wind will pick up a bit on Saturday, but will take a chill pill on Sunday which will see some sunny skies, with temperatures reaching 18°C.
At least we’ll have a fab weekend!
