Health Minister Chris Fearne today announced that the last batch of 44 ITU beds are currently being installed, bringing the total number of beds available to Coronavirus patients in critical care to 120.

This marks the end of a three-week process, where health authorities had announced a drastic increase in ITU beds as a precuationary measure to treat a possible influx of Coronavirus patients needing critical care.

Calling on the public to continue respecting health directives, Minister Fearne said: "Please help us keep them empty."
