Festive cheers! Record-breaking pot of mulled wine brings 300 litres of holiday warmth to the streets of Rabat
Bottoms up!

Francesca Vella

Visitors strolling through Rabat’s beautifully lit Natalis Notabilis event over the weekend had the chance to witness a truly festive milestone—the creation of Malta’s largest-ever pot of mulled wine!

Crafted by cocktail expert James Aquilina, the impressive pot measured 70cm in height, 77cm in diameter, and held a staggering 300 litres of mulled wine. This warm, aromatic drink set a national record for its sheer size, and the festive spirit it undoubtedly brought about in everyone who took a sip!

Congratulations to all involved in achieving this Christmassy feat!

Did you get a chance to see (or taste) this record-breaking creation?
