One of the most anticipated traditions is the marċijiet brijużi, lively street marches full of music, energy, and community spirit. During these festive gatherings, locals proudly dress in the colours of their village and patron saint, singing and dancing along to original anthems that are unique to each locality. It’s an unforgettable experience and a true highlight of Malta’s festa season.
Adding to the spectacle, the streets are transformed with vibrant, eye-catching decorations, unlike anything you’ve seen before - banners, lights, statues, and intricate designs that celebrate both faith and tradition.
Will you be celebrating any of these feasts?
