“It’s going to become gradually hot and sticky once again in Malta and Gozo, with temperatures feeling as hot as 39°C next week, as very hot air from northern Africa makes its way towards the central Mediterranean!” the local weather site wrote. Uff!

And apparently, it’s not just us. According to SevereWeather a heatwave is likely to establish over west-central Europe, with temperatures climbing into 35-40°C. X’gost! If you’re jetting off to somewhere in Europe next week, we’re afraid you won’t be escaping the heat much!

However, after this week's funky weather that brought about gale force warnings and freak rainfall, we can't say we're not looking forward to getting our tan on!

We’ll definitely be hitting the beach next week! Who's with us?
