Rino Valente has lived in Florence since he was 2 years old. He has always frequented so-called "Alternative" environments and followed each of their art forms, from music to graphics and everything relating to it.
When he was in his twenties he started attending various punk/metal/darkwave concerts, at that time he began to collaborate with different realities as a graphic designer, designing flyers for concerts, fanzines, graphics for shirts or various discs for bands.
25 years ago he started tattooing, a logical choice because the environment that he frequented, was full of tattooed people.
This new form of art gave him the chance to travel the world and get to know new realities and stimulating people, collaborate over time with the greatest exponents of the tattoo world. This new line of work took him to Australia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, America, Germany and Spain.
During his career he also had the opportunity to explore the fashion environment, Sundek and Puma in particular. For the first he drew two seasons of clothing and for the second a pair of shoes that bear his name (limited edition to 250 pairs, for the collectors market) .
5 years ago he discovered leather tooling, in which the technique of engraving leather (from the long tradition of the decoration of the horse's saddles of American cowboys) is combined with the iconography of the tattoo world.
Rino fell in love immediately because it combines two elements that he always adored, the manual (crafts) and art.
