Quite different to today’s Shazalaya, Shaznilee (true story) and Zion are names like Kalanc, Zaren and Rozina, which were original Maltese names from way back when. In a recent post on Facebook group Bongu Malta, Maltese from all over the world are listing original local names, primarily ones that aren’t so common anymore.
