COVID-19: 14 countries are officially on Malta’s amber travel list

If you’ve got some travel plans lined up, you might want to check this out. Malta has revised its amber travel list, the Health Ministry has announced. “Any traveller arriving in Malta from any of the countries listed in the revised list of countries indicated hereunder is required to present a negative PCR COVID-19 test performed no later than 72 hours before arrival in Malta. Travellers arriving in Malta from any of the said countries who fail to produce such a test may be submitted to testing in Malta and may be subject to quarantine.”

3. Bulgaria

4. Czech Republic 

5. France (all Paris airports, Marseille)

6. Hungary

7. Ireland

8. Netherlands (all airports)

9. Poland (Gdansk, Krakow)

10. Portugal (Porto)

11. Spain (Madrid, Barcelona and Girona airport) 

12. Switzerland (all airports)

13. Tunisia

14. United Kingdom (Belfast, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle)

The Health Ministry noted that this notice comes into effect as of Friday 23rd October at midnight.
