Local establishment up north, Chateau Buskett has announced the passing of one of their own: Dorothy Porelli, the matriarch.

“With such great sadness we must announce the passing of Dorothy Portelli,” their heartfelt post on social media read. “She was the strength and the spirit of Chateau Buskett / Buskett Roadhouse, the leader of the family and will be greatly missed by all her loving family & friends.” In light of her passing, Chateau Buskett will be closed for the coming week. “Thank you for understanding,” they share.

Dorothy's father, Reno started the business 57 years ago. It was then passed down to Dorothy and her husband Joseph. Their sons Rene and Jesmond now run the family business.
