Pack your bags! Stuttgart & Helsinki now connected to Malta International Airport
Holidaymakers, rejoice!

Francesca Vella

If the early summer heat’s getting to you and you’re dreaming of cooler regions, here’s some good news! Malta International Airport has boosted its summer route network with the launch of direct flights to Stuttgart and Helsinki, strengthening the island’s ties to Central Europe and Scandinavia.

A brand-new addition to Malta International Airport’s summer schedule, the Stuttgart route now gives Maltese travellers a direct link to the heart of Germany – perfect for city breaks, business trips, or exploring Southern Germany’s scenic regions.

After a six year break, the Helsinki route has officially returned – now operated by Norwegian – offering local holidaymakers a seamless way to explore the Nordic region. Whether you're chasing the midnight sun, exploring Finland's vast natural landscapes, or just escaping the heat, the beauty of Finnish landscapes are now within reach again!

Which of these flights would you love to hop onto?
