Celebrating citrus! ‘Citrus Morning’ comes to Kalkara on the last Sunday of January
Prepare your nostrils for some delicious smells!

Francesca Vella

For the fourth year in a row, ‘Citrus Morning’ (or 'L-Ghodwa tac-Citru') is making its return to the seaside town of Kalkara, wrapping up the month of January with a burst of fruity fun on Sunday 26th January, from 8 AM to 1 PM.

This festival will take place in the heart of Kalkara, at Archbishop Gonzi Square, where visitors can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and the delicious scents of citrus fruits while browsing stalls overflowing with fresh oranges and lemons – perfect for boosting your immune system during flu season!

Heritage Malta also invites the public to visit Villa Portelli just up the street, which will be open to visitors on the same day, providing the opportunity for a fruitful and cultural Sunday well spent!

Have you ever attended 'L-Ghodwa tac-Citru'?
