Can it be? Highest temperature ever recorded in October could be exceeded tomorrow
Hello, October? Is that you?

Jillian Mallia

Love it or hate it, a warm Saturday is heading our way as we welcome in the first weekend of October. And it seems we might also be hitting a record, too!

According to It-Temp Madwarna, high temperatures of about 32°C are expected tomorrow. This is because a “wave of hot desert air will rise together with meridional current from the Sahar Desert.” This is thanks to a “strong vortex of low and intense pressure in Northwest France.”

The local weather site also noted something interesting. “Tomorrow, temperatures will soar and will be very close to hitting the highest ever recorded temperature for the month of October (34°C).” While temperatures should hit around 32°C, feels like temperatures are expected to be around 34°C according to the Met Office. It-Temp Madwarna noted that temps are expected to cool down again come Sunday. In fact, highs of 28°C and feels likes of 30°C are expected for Sunday.
