In light of this, the Met Office has issued a weather warning as a sizzling week is upon us. “The maximum temperature is expected to be between 34°C and 37°C from today till Wednesday,” wrote the weather experts online. #GodBlessRuhi

So, what does the weekend weather look like?

Temperatures will reach 34°C today as well as on Saturday and Sunday with the ‘feels like’ temps being 36°C, 39°C and 38°C respectively. Today’s UV index reaches 9, while tomorrow and Sunday will hit UV index 11. Don’t forget to splat on that sunblock and keep those sunnies and fab summer hats handy!

But wait, that’s not all. Xiex? There’s more? Yup. Next week, temperatures will be through the roof, reaching 36°C on Monday and Tuesday and 37°C on Wednesday. But the ‘feels like’ temps will be 38°C, 37°C and 39°C on the respective three days. Whaaat? As we say in Maltese, tista’ taqli bajda f’dat-temp!
