Ready, set, sweat! Another heatwave will be hitting the Maltese Islands as of TOMORROW
Make sure you’re stocked on sunblock and you’ve got your hat and sunnies at hand, because a heat spell (that may also turn into a heatwave) will be hitting the Maltese Islands.
While the past week was a relatively pleasant one, with breezy winds and below-average temps, things are about to change as of tomorrow. According to Maltese Islands Weather site, “a heat spell, which could also qualify as a heatwave under the right conditions, will affect the western and central Mediterranean from Thursday 4th July. This includes the Maltese Islands.”
Damn. Safe to say, we’ll be hitting the beach more often in the next week!
The local weather site has reported “temperatures of over 33°C which will feel up to 42°C will bake our islands for a period of up to ten days. Nighttime lows will vary from 24°C to 26°C, but will feel warmer and will be sticky as a result of humid conditions.” Mmm... toasty!
Heard that, folks? We’ll be sweating in the sweltering heat starting from tomorrow, so that means we’ve got to be prepped and ready to take on this projected heatwave. It’s important to stay hydrated, cover up when possible, and splat on that sunblock. Nasty sunburns aren’t welcome!
