Rest in peace.

Jillian Mallia

The BOV family is mourning the loss of one of their own – Mary Sammut. Mary is described by the company as “a dear friend, colleague, mother, [and] leader.”

“A beautiful soul who left an impact on so many of us here at Bank of Valletta - her lovely smile, the way she interacted with our customers and colleagues and the way she led her staff,” BOV Facebook page shared this morning.

“Mary, you will be sorely missed by all of us. A bank front-liner who was taken away too early while she was providing an essential service to the community. Please help protect our front-liners. Follow the simple rules.”

Our condolences go out to Mary’s family, friends & colleagues. May she rest in peace.
