Want to take a dip in the sea but unsure which bays are the safest in gloomy weather?

Weather page Maltese Islands Weather has just released it’s popular ‘Recommended Bays’ list showing bays that are likely to offer the best conditions for swimming.

Maltese Islands Weather shared that the bays’ positions on the list are based on changes in wind, wave, and current, along with reports from the public. Additionally, the list makes reference to the inner part of the bays and not the mouth.

Overall, it highlights that “it is important to judge the suitability of a bay based on onsite observation and directions provided by lifeguards that may be on duty.”

Today’s recommended bays:

  1. Marfa
  2. Ramla l-Bir
