Behind the lens! Maltese photographer takes incredible shots of the F1 race in Shanghai

Malta's own Andrew Mercieca recently had the chance of a lifetime, capturing breathtaking moments from the heart of the action at the F1 race in Shanghai.

Armed with his camera, the local photographer found himself right in the pit lane, rubbing shoulders with the stars of the French Alpine team.

His photography skills were on full display as he shared a series of incredible shots, some of which featured Esteban Ocon, the Alpine team's driver, making eye contact with the lens. For many local F1 enthusiasts, Andrew's experience was a dream come true, offering a rare glimpse into the adrenaline-fueled world of Formula 1.

Reflecting on his unforgettable opportunity, the local photographer expressed gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.

This isn't his first rodeo either; last September, he was already making waves with his photography at the Alpine pit lane.

Andrew Mercieca handed in his resignation last year to follow his passions, to make connections and to create engaging content. With each click of his camera, this local photographer continues to capture the essence of speed, competition, and camaraderie that defines the F1 experience.
