Attention commuters! Marsa traffic at a complete standstill
And schools haven’t even started yet

Despite rush hour usually varying between the hours of 5pm and 7pm on weekdays, it seems like the situation is already boiling over today, and commuters are far from ecstatic. With Google Maps registering a traffic congestion of 18-minutes just to drive through Aldo Moro Street in Marsa, it doesn’t look like the weekend is off to a great start for locals living in southern Malta.

Irate drivers have taken to facebook to air their frustrations about the situation, with several commenting that exorbitant commute times are unfortunately a common occurrence in the vicinities.

Guess now’s the time to have a relaxing post-work beer before attempting the journey home.

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
