8-year-old pens letter to MIA’s firefighters thanking them for their work during pandemic times
An eight-year-old boy thanked the islands’ airport’s team of firefighters for their work during these times in a sweet, hand-written letter.
“Our team of firefighters were thrilled to receive a letter from a young admirer, Ethan Mizzi, who reached out to our front liners to thank them for their work,” the airport’s post on social media starts off.
Here’s what Ethan had to say:
“Dear firefighters,
My name is Ethan Mizzi. I am 8 years old and attend De La Salle College.
I would like to thank you for the work which you carry out every day. I appreciate how hard you worked during the difficult times brought about by the pandemic and I also appreciate your courage and the fact that you save people’s lives on a daily basis.
Regards,
Ethan Mizzi”
“To thank Ethan for his kind words, members of our firefighting squad took a photo with the much-appreciated letter (and one of our new Rosenbauer fire trucks!)”
Such a sweet gesture, Ethan!
