2. Victoria Lines

Dubbed The Great Wall of Malta, these lines were built in the late 1800s by the British Empire. Running along the Great Fault, the Lines spread across Madliena in the east to the limits of Mosta, which include Forts for the respective locations. It’s a fun and adventurous place - perfect for a family hike.

3. Chadwick Lakes

Known in Maltese as Wied il-Qlejgħa, Chadwick Lakes are artificial fresh water lakes between Rabat and Mtarfa on the Western part Malta. This location provides a stunning backdrop for picnics and hikes, and several families flock to this secluded area in the wintry months to breathe in the fresh air.

4. Ħondoq ir-Rummien

The beautiful location on the sister island of Gozo is situated on the coastline below the village of Qala. The rocky cliffside overlooks some of the clearest water in all of Malta and Gozo. This location is perfect to take some great snapshots!

5. Comino

A popular swimming destination for both tourists and locals over the summer months, Comino also offers many trails to explore in the cooler months. And not to mention the killer views of both Malta and Gozo! It will surely leave you wanting more.

6. San Blas Valley

With stunning views of San Blas bay in Gozo, this valley is just breath-taking. With a steep (and challenging) hill down towards the bay, you can also venture off on the rocks to discover the surrounding areas.

7. Dingli Cliffs

Just a 15-minute drive from the historical city of Mdina, Dingli Cliffs are simply stunning. The cliffs offer an amazing seaside sunset, and great trail walks. A remote and relaxing place, perfect for a hike date!

8. Għar Lapsi

A small bay near Siġġiewi with a beautiful lagoon. This location offers spectacular cliff views with fantastic treks for adventure junkies. It has been described as a very special and magical place by tourists visiting the area.
