YAS! Local footballer Emma Ciantar Piccinino is currently undergoing tryouts with Manchester City in the Community in the UK.

Emma can be described as the definition of determination, having had to train football while managing living with diabetes. But that didn’t stop her!

According to Replay (Net Television), Emma, who played locally with Raiders Gharghur FC, left the island on Monday after being recommended by a scout who watched her play during the Gothia Cup – The World Youth Cup earlier this year. #Goals (no pun intended).

She received an official invitation from the club after sending in short clips of herself following her experience playing for the Swedish club AIK Solna, which she also slayed. The local footballer is now in with the chance of having an offer on the table from the prominent English club and possibly being accepted into the sports programme at the club’s Sixth Form college. How cool is that? 

It seems there's no stopping this girl from chasing her dreams! And we're totally here for it! Keep slaying, Emma!
