YAS! Malta Airport has just launched its winter schedule & we’re mega excited!

Tell someone to hold your poodle, because Malta International Airport has launched its winter flight schedule and you need to book a holiday, pronto! To celebrate the start of winter for the aviation industry, MIA will be adding four new routes to their schedule, as well as extending some routes from summer into winter, as announced in a statement.

 “Between Sunday and Tuesday, flights from Paphos, Trieste and Santiago de Compostela landed at Malta International Airport for the first time,” they said. Passengers and crew members aboard these inaugural flights were even welcomed with a cake-cutting ceremony. Cake after a flight? Jealous!

These three routes are operated by Ryanair and will be jetted out to their destination and back to Malta on a bi-weekly basis, broadening our island’s already-extensive route networks in Italy and Spain. And Paphos is now the second direct connection on the airport’s roster between Malta and Cyprus.
