It’s that time of year when fundraisers are popping up everywhere and locals reach into their pockets to donate to a good cause of their choice. There’s lots to choose from, but this particular fundraiser is a little different and a super cool one to try out.
Salon Services Ltd will be organising a 10-hour hairdressing marathon on Sunday 27th October in aid of ALS Malta. All the proceeds from the services given during this marathon will be passed on in their entirety to ALS Malta, in order to help them build the new and bigger, second Dar Bjorn, as many others are doing this month.
But this is an event with a twist: getting your hair did (cos you need to look faboo) and also donating to such a good cause. #WinWin “This is the second time we are organising this event for this cause because we believe in giving back to society,” says Salon Services Managing Director George Bonello.

The marathon will be taking place at Salon Services Ltd’s headquarters in Swatar from 10am to 8pm. The company issued a call for hairdressers who wished to take part in the event and help out, and the response has been great!
