It’s getting super chilly out there!

At 8pm last night, temperatures hit the lowest they’ve been so far since the onset of autumn on the islands. According to Malta Weather, the evening chill was at 14°C, but felt like 11°C! Last week, the lowest temperature we had was a balmy 18°C.

This week however, 18°C seems to be the warmest it'll be, with the lowest being 12°C, which will feel like 9°C at times.

It’s a love it or hate it situation! Some Maltese absolutely “love everything” about winter and enjoy cosying up in bed, wearing hoodies and watching movies, while others crave the summer heat and simply cannot put up with the cold and rain!

Strong gale force winds continue to pick up across the islands, with windy thunderstorms forecasted for today, and isolated showers until the weekend, so keep your jackets and scarves at the ready!

Do you love or hate the cold weather?
