Wrap up tight! GALE FORCE WINDS forecast this weekend on the Maltese Islands
Say what?!

It seems like Mother Nature is going to be in one of her moods as another gusty weekend is in store for us on the Maltese Islands. Hold on tight, folks!

According to Malta Weather, “a low pressure system is expected to move across the central Mediterranean this coming Saturday bringing strong force 7 and gale force 8 winds from a south-southeasterly direction and lots of airborne sand.” Smajt, Gann? If you were thinking of washing your cars, windows and porches, it’s NOT the weekend to do it. #Notbothered

But wait, there’s more. “Wave heights are expected to peak at eight metres during the night between Saturday and Sunday,” the weather site announced. So maybe don’t park your car close to the sea tomorrow evening? You don’t want to find it floating with the fishies.

Apart from the strong winds, it seems it’s going to be a relatively mild weekend, with no rain forecasts, but there are slim chances the angels will pee a little. And by slim we mean at best, 15 per cent chance of rain. Nothing major to worry about!
