Woah! Check out these shots of this building Ghar id-Dud, more than 100 years apart
Wow!

Jillian Mallia

What a beauty! This building in the Ghar id-Dud area in Sliema was recently renovated and is looking mighty fine. Ceska Photography shared two side-by-side shots of this magnificent building, over 100 years apart.

The first photo shows the renovated building complete with apertures and characteristics very similar to the original version of the building, including a traditional Maltese balcony.

The second photo, which Ceska credits to Richard Ellis, shows the original building over 100 years ago. Can you see the similarities? A gem that has thankfully been saved and restored.  The building now seems to be used by Piazzetta Group and is being used as a Business Plaza.

Have you spotted it?
