Take a break from looking down at those screens tonight and instead look up to witness an incredible national phenomenon that will be happening on our islands.
In a Facebook post, Spacelab gave all the deets about tonight’s incredible lunar eclipse. The best time to watch will be at 10.01pm tonight and the moon’s direction will be southeast by east. We’re definitely in for a treat!
“Look up at the skies tonight, think of our three fellow humans hurtling across space towards the moon on Apollo11 and enjoy the partial lunar eclipse visible from our islands!” they wrote.
The maximum eclipse will occur at 11.30pm, with the partial eclipse ending at 00.59am. Everything will be over by 02.17am but the change won’t be visible to the naked eye.
Will you be watching the lunar eclipse tonight?
