Winter’s back? Malta & Gozo to see rain, strong winds, and a chilly real feel of 6°C this week
The first week of spring hasn’t been bringing the balmiest of weather so far! After the strong winds and gloomy skies that characterised last weekend, this upcoming week isn’t looking much brighter. Last night saw some thunderstorms, and storm clouds are expected to remain hovering over the islands till tomorrow, Wednesday 26th, which should bring more rain in the morning.
Although Thursday should be dry, Friday is expected to bring more isolated showers in the morning, and winds strengthening throughout the day to force 7. Saturday is forecast to bring another short break from the rain, however winds will keep increasing, hitting gale force 8 at night – careful if you plan on any sea travel or plan to be near the sea!
The temperature is expected to drop on Saturday night too, hitting a chilly minimum real feel of 6°C – you might want to carry a jacket if you plan on a night out.
Although things might shift with time, it seems like the upcoming long weekend is going to be a wet and grey one!
Hoping for a change or ready for the storm?
