The gesture, led by The Marigold Foundation, joins the international autism community in raising awareness for people on the autism spectrum – making Mdina even more impressive than it always is!

In trying times like these, people with autism face extra challenges – where isolation, confined spaces, and staying indoors for long periods of time – all of which are measures needed to help contain the spread of COVID-19 – place additional pressures and present new struggles for sufferers and their families.

The Foundation, which works closely with the Autism Parents Association, expressed solidarity with affected families in the present circumstances and also dedicated the gesture to all healthcare professionals, security forces and public departments working tirelessly to keep Malta safe!
