White van’s insane parking skills leave local drivers baffled
How on earth did they pull that off?

Caroline Curmi

For most people who have recently learnt to drive or are currently in the process of achieving their license, parking necessitates two empty parking spaces right behind each other before a manoeuvre is even considered, let alone attempted.

However, one little white van in Gozo has gone and floored most drivers on the island with the driver's insane (and quite honestly, baffling) parking skills. Wedged tightly yet perfectly between two walls, the white van's ingenious placing has not only kindly freed up a regular and much coveted parking spot but also unleashed a whole controversy as to how it actually got there in the first place.

We've had our fair share of ruminating and we've decided to appeal to all driving instructors in the hopes of receiving an explanation that justifies this phenomenon. Tag your driving instructor below and let's see if Malta's driving experts can answer this: How exactly does one park like this without smashing a headlight or two and busting a vein?

*sits back and patiently waits for explanations*

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
