Bring out those umbrellas and jackets from storage because the rain is here to stay... at least for a little while! According to Malta Weather, we should expect “more unsettled weather with rain showers possibly thundery and with hail at times across Malta and Gozo until Thursday, as instability continues over the central Mediterranean.”

Today’s forecast is predicting 55 per cent chances of rain and 25 per cent chance of thunderstorms. Tomorrow might calm down a little, with three per cent chance of rain and 10 per cent chance of thunder and rumble. It’s looking like Thursday will be another rainy day too, with an 83 per cent chance forecast.

But more importantly, what about the weekend?! It will be mainly partly cloudy and windy, with Force 7 winds picking up on Saturday, but calming down to Force 3 and 4 on Sunday. And if you’re planning anything outdoorsy, you might want to take a jacket to wrap up, because while temperatures will reach 18°C during the day, they'll drop to 12°C in the evening.
