When culture meets fashion: Luke Azzopardi launches scarf collection inspired by works at MUZA
We want them, STAT!

Jillian Mallia

We love a good couture idea, and when culture and fashion merge to create something beautiful, we’re definitely on board. Local designer Luke Azzopardi strikes again, coming up with something absolutely stunning. (We had no doubt).

Luke is known for creating collections featuring Maltese symbols and motifs, and this time he’s taken it to the next level. In collaboration with Heritage Malta, Luke has created a scarf collection inspired by important works found at MUZA, the National Community Art Museum in Valletta which features some prestigious works.

The collection features three different scarves. The first is inspired by ‘Fire on the Tiber’ by Claude Joseph Vernet; the second style takes inspiration from ‘Bozzetti for the dome of Mosta Parish Church’ by local artist Giuseppe Briffa; while the third one is an amalgamation of ‘Fragment from a Choral Book showing a historiated initial’ and ‘Holy Water Stoup.’

Utterly gorgeous! Get yours here.
