What social distancing? Crowds of people spotted at Mater Dei waiting rooms
Where's the two metre distance?

Jillian Mallia

Photos are circling of groups of people crowding Mater Dei waiting rooms that has us all quite flabbergasted! Waiting rooms are there to wait your turn, but crowding in such a small place won't do any good during this pandemic.

When in public spaces, especially somewhere like Mater Dei, visitors must wear a mask to protect themselves, the healthcare workers and other visitors in the waiting rooms. People have commented that the hospital should be setting the example and enforcing such measures even more.

As per the guidelines by Health Authorities, it is imperative we were masks, social distance and practice good hand hygiene in order to contain the spread of COVID-19.
